Inner Circle: A few months ago, I had the opportunity to be at Willie Crawford’s Birthday Bash, where a group of close friends and internet marketers joined him in celebrating his fiftieth birthday.The celebration was part of a seminar packed with people of different backgrounds. Even in the midst of such diversely talented people, we were all working and sharing together while we continued the sense of celebration throughout the weekend. It was what Willie himself would describe as an “Inner Circle.”
Willie Crawford grew up in a family that was dependent on government subsidy to survive. He decided one day to “git off the porch,” as he describes in his book by that title, and make his own future. He joined the air force and right before he retired he discovered the internet and developed a passion for the new media.
He started his internet marketing career in 1996, when he setup his first southern cooking website. Though he became adept at selling and writing, he didn’t go into the internet marketing niche until around 2002, when he spoke at the first seminar. Live events produce live friends and that circle of friends has been growing ever since.
Willie soon discovered the power of his growing connections. He had proven his success in the cooking niche and now he could expand that success into the most competitive of niches, Internet Marketing. It was through his connections that Willie not only succeeded in that new niche, but he has also been able to teach hundreds of other marketers to succeed as well.
On his Blog Talk Radio show, Willie has interviewed dozens of his friends. The programs have that simplicity of a humble man talking to friends, yet they are packed with information. Willie is constantly teaching as he speaks and he pulls you into that inner circle.
