I registered two new businesses with my State during the last four or five weeks. As a marketer, I am more than familiar with direct mail campaigns; I started doing them myself about 30 years ago. It is much faster than regular direct mail, response can be immediate, it ignores geographical boundaries, it is easier to produce, it is more cost effective, and the return rate is better than other direct mail campaigns.

With e-mail, you don't have the limitations you have with a newspaper advertisement; your copy can be more descriptive, longer, include images, and even have links.
